Exercising Demons Collection
How a concept-driven artwork series became a commercially viable product ecosystem.
Overview
The Exercising Demons Collection began as a concept-driven visual project and evolved into a fully developed product collection across apparel and soft goods. This work demonstrates how strong creative concepts can become commercially viable product ecosystems when creative direction, product development, and technical execution are aligned.
The Opportunity
The original artwork had strong visual appeal but existed as static designs. The opportunity was to expand the concept into a broader assortment of consumer products without losing the integrity of the original creative vision.
My Role
I led the expansion of the concept into a structured product collection, identifying product opportunities, developing the assortment, and creating the technical frameworks needed for production.

Collection Strategy
The goal was to build a cohesive product ecosystem rather than a series of disconnected products.
Maintaining visual consistency across categories
Creating a mix of accessible and hero products
Designing for manufacturability
Supporting future expansion opportunities
Apparel Development
The collection expanded into multiple apparel formats, including women's and unisex silhouettes. The goal was to translate the tone of the artwork into wearable products that preserved the collection's playful, dark, and distinctive character.
Soft-Goods Expansion
The assortment extended into functional accessories including socks, drawstring backpacks, and expandable gym totes. These products reinforced the collection narrative while increasing range, utility, and merchandising potential.
Technical Development
To support production, I developed a structured technical specification system including material definitions, construction details, measurement standards, and production guidelines. This made the collection more scalable and easier to communicate with manufacturing partners.

Outcome
The final result was a cohesive, presentation-ready product ecosystem that demonstrated how concept-driven artwork could evolve into scalable consumer goods. This project highlights my ability to move between creative direction, design execution, and technical product development.
